With its single story focus and central theme of family, it reminds me of his earlier work, like Tenenbaums or Darjeeling. Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget

The anti-chicken (as food) message was ineffective as the film made me crave chicken nuggets.

Thankfully, it captures the spirit of the original, even though it seems unlikely it will live up to the iconic status of that film. The aesthetic is more colourful, which cheapens it with the feel of a kids film, and it suffers from some unfortunate casting changes. It's still a whole lot of fun with some excellent gags.
