I’m a sucker for Romcoms starring neurotic men who seem to hate themselves, so this was hard to screw up.
It’s formulaic, but charming. Did not expect there to be as many laugh-out-loud moments as there were.
Albert Brooks is a fine lead. He always has an energy I really enjoy. Meryl Streep doesn’t really have a lot to work with here, but does a good job of being endearing. Rip Torn does a good Rip Torn in this one,…
