rewatched with the audio commentary playing - wdym james duval was 18 when filming omg 😭found it so amusing that some of the cast had to get fakes just to get into a club to shoot, and that the insemination party was “based on a true story” LMAO. overall a super cool look into the quirks of the filming process!!

SO FUN and more comedic than i expected!! i went into this almost entirely blind because i feel like by this point you can kinda tell if recent wes anderson works are your cup of tea; i def understand why a lot of people don’t jive with it but me personally i eat it up every time 💆🏻‍♀️ i need more of mia threapleton on my screen IMMEDIATELY, and i also really loved the score in this for some reason? definitely liked asteroid city more but still had a wonderful time with this!
