I can relate to this one a little.

Mostly Spengler and Stanz, who were the most ionate about the science behind ghost hunting.
This one doesn't have "nerdy in the same way as the originals, but Holtzmann seems to be the sciencey one of the group, creating gadgets and such.
Mark Watney is awesome. He scienced the sh** out of Mars and survived on a barren planet for over a year!
I haven't seen this one yet, but I really like Star Wars, and this is a movie about Star Wars geeks, so...yeah.
Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg was a great twist on the a-hole type character, making him into a smart (and somewhat legalistic) genius.
How can you make a list about nerds without Peter Parker? He's Marvel's number one nerdy outcast, and he's really relatable to a lot of people, making him an instant fan favourite (especially to me).
Without Jane Foster, Thor probably would have gotten arrested and put into a mental asylum. She is the scientific ground of this fantasy movie, and she does so wonderfully.
Alan Turing, the nerd who changed the tide of World War II. If that doesn't impress you, you must be hard to impress.
Obligatory Hermione Granger. She's the determined, somewhat annoying, and (eventually) beautiful book nerd that helps Harry and Ron in pretty much everything they do. Without her, they would have died in the first movie...multiple times over.
Brian Johnson, the nerd of the Breakfast Club. I don't a lot about the guy, but he did have some great moments in bringing the group together. It's kind of a shame he ended up doing the report for everyone in the end!
I suppose you could classify Newt Scamander as a nerd, about magical beasts, at least. It was his extensive knowledge of these creatures he'd studied that saved the Muggle world from discovering the existence of wizardry.
Another a-hole character, like Zuckerberg in The Social Network, except with a less redeeming character arc. That's what happens when you base the character more off of real life, I guess.
Kevin Flynn has a job that I wish I had; owning the largest local arcade and generally goofing around with the kids who spend late nights trying to get one more high score.
