Would have loved a final MI movie that prioritized being a really good MI movie instead of a drawn out tribute to its own franchise. ☹️
Also, where are all the civilians they’re protecting? This whole movie takes place in remote locations. Submarine and plane scenes were cool though.
I directed this film over 4 years ago and now it’s free on Amazon Prime. I made a lot of mistakes directing this film. But I’m also thankful for the lessons I’ve learned from those mistakes.

Blockbuster of the year! Adore how this movie is willing to spend time with the characters, allowing time to , while Godzilla is in the background constantly haunting. The main character actually feels like the main character, not someone who’s just there to run through a bunch of action set pieces and say one-liners.
We have a flawed and haunted main character, and his arc is so satisfying and beautiful. A nice relief from the sarcastic and generally apathetic characters…
