Welcome to Showdown Vol. II: The Bride of Showdown! This one is going to have some of you as giddy as Phoenix Buchanan running loose in a costume-hire shop. We want your top ten movie sequels of all time. Which films did it better than the original? Which sequel perfectly captured the mood of its ancestor/s? Which follow-up left its cinematic parent in the dust? The rules: at least one (and preferably more) of the core cast must return in a chronological continuation of the original story (so Fury Road out, Toy Story 3 in). It’s not an impossible mission; try to complete it before sunset.
