Paddington in Peru

My favourite part was when Paddington was in the Amazon researching spiders with Madame Webs mum right before she died

Past Lives

This is my fourth viewing of Past Lives but it was unlike any other time. I was watching with a new perspective. My life has changed a lot since the last time I watched this so this review is about to be long and probably personal (last paragraph) in parts so you don’t need to read it but this is just such a special movie.

What an opening, “who do you think they are to each other?” Kicks this movie…

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

★★★★ Rewatched

Certainly messier than the previous entry and not a fan of them splitting the guardians or Ego as a villain but there’s a special charm this movie has that I love. The soundtrack is exceptional, this is probably the funniest MCU movie (mostly due to Drax) and the Yondu stuff at the end is a top 3 MCU moment for me. I laughed, I cried and Groot is cute

How to Train Your Dragon

2025

★★★ Watched

We have had many live action remakes stray from its original and make changes that hinder the film. I’m struggling with this as it’s literally the same thing, so of course the story is great but kinda an obvious money grab. It plays it safe and hits the right beats but I didn’t quite buy into the human x dragon relationships like I did in the original. Looks good, but looks even better animated. Not really needed but had an enjoyable time. Score is an all timer

For all you cry babies complaining about the run time. Let me tell you this could be 3 hours longer and I’d still be glued to the screen
