Damn Tom, I really trusted you one last time, especially after being disappointed with Dead Reckoning Part One (It’s original title).
This movie tries to do too much in wrapping up the entire film series and have a callback to previous entries in the series to mixed results.
The only callback that actually works in the story is Rolf Saxon returning as William Donloe from the original Mission Impossible.

Features a plethora of gruesome and gory death scenes that continue the series dark humour when each character reaches their final destination. However none of the scenes in this movie can recapture the absolute pinnacle of the series and its log truck scene.
That Final Destination Bloodlines tries so desperately to and has enough sly references to that scene throughout the movie only hurts its own scenes by not being able to match what it so desperately aspires to become.…
I’m all in for Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal to turn this into a modern day Bourne like series of films. I enjoy these movies so much, hugely entertaining and with a great amount of humour and action. I love the exploration of the brothers relationship in this movie, the bar scene is a standout.
