Director had 10 different movie ideas, one night smoked a t and decided to shove em all into a live action adaptation which has absolutely nothing to do with the game.

Technically some great stuff going on here, especially the sound design. Also love the brutality on display, wish more war movies leaned fully into that

Genuinely wished there was more perspective from the family that was stuck with these guys unwillingly though

And I honestly struggle to feel any sympathy for the American Military tbvh. In a different timeline, that could very easily have been me & my family in Saudi Arabia
