Spike Lee at his most personal. Alfre Woodard and Delroy Lindo are perfect. Zelda Harris gives an all-timer of a child performance. All that AND an unhinged RuPaul cameo!? You cannot ask for more

Watched this for a second time in a packed house of adults and children at Mexico City’s Cineteca Nacional… and it hit even harder, perhaps in part because of how deeply I felt the fact that you can watch Flow with no subtitles in any cinema in the world, no matter what language you speak, and have the same visceral experience as all the people around you. 🥺
