I'm not a huge fan of vampire movies - but I'd say this is one of the better ones. It's entertaining despite some drawn out spots, there's some irably gory special effects, and the actors are all good (particularly a young Kirsten Dunst who holds her own in a movie filled with top notch talent). Having said that... I just don't like vampire movies all that much because they tend to get either dry or corny - this movie avoids those things for the most part, but I still don't love it. I can totally see how this could be a favourite with fans of the genre, though.
