They made a twisty turny mystery but forgot to show me why I should care.

I feel ya Jeanne, I too will do some extreme things if my coffee time is disappointing.
Undeniably this film is agonising to watch, but having a slow off day myself in the middle of a bout of unemployment was probably the best way to watch it. The feeling of a minor inconvenience that disrupts the entire routine - a routine you can ignore the tedium of in normal circumstances - is the most aggravating thing in existence.
The only other film starring Delphine Seyrig I’ve seen is Daughters of Darkness - it’s quite funny to imagine those two characters meeting each other.
Okay this one was easily the best of the three 60th anniversary specials. And honestly feels like the most indicative of what is to come with this new era of Doctor Who - for gen z, completely absurdist.
Neil Patrick Harris is having a whale of a time and his performance manages to anchor the horrifying and comedic perfectly (significantly better than the previous episode). Additionally, I just love seeing a franchise this big be this sincere and unabashedly emotional and cathartic.
Also I’m all in on Ncuti Gatwa, but I don’t think people who aren’t can be trusted.
