being a daughter and identity and figuring out who you are. almost made me cry in the beginning because of the mother-daughter relationship. it was a bit cliche; some scenes were really cinematic and some very much weren’t
girlhood and mother-daughter relationships and identity and growing up. relies on a lot of tropes/cliches but i’m not mad about it. well shot, feels like it was filmed in 2000 or so not 2017
