here are my thoughts as bel and I conclude our hunger games rewatch journey: 3/4 of these films are better than I them and I honestly enjoyed them so much! the story is brilliant in most parts and extremely engaging. however I have to say they really overshot how much people care about peeta bread... or is that just me? like his whole arc in this, are we really just doing bucky barnes with blonde hair? I don’t know if I’m worth all this katniss! (hint: he’s not). but besides that I think this is a solid end to the franchise, even if i predicting what was gonna happen in my cinema seat - I’m just annoying like that, and that last line there are much worse games to play is so brilliant, I can’t believe I forgot about it. if you too haven’t seen these films since they came out I wholeheartedly suggest a rewatch marathon too, they’re the perfect mix of fun and intense (and I guess with part 1 you get your healthy dose of snoozetown.. gotta keep the balance). im trying to decide who my favourite character is out of the franchise... I’ll get back to you on that. but anyway!! good moonvies!! hunger games more like hell yeah
