Reminded me a bit of The ion of the Christ. A very heavy movie where Leo goes through one ordeal after another and you cannot but think to yourself: "Please, cruel world, give this guy a break!"

Some of the scenes are terrificly well made, e.g. the first fighting scene, not to mention the scene which defines Leo throughout the whole movie. I could watch those again and again. I think my adrenaline flow while watching them influenced the baby…
