A simple story that somehow still manages to be very confusing at the same time. Look, I respect the movie for what it was going for and it’s certainly unique going for a futuristic noir genre, but eh, I just didn’t find the movie to be that all intriguing. It just feels like there’s not a whole lot of substance beneath the impressive visual designs. That said, I wouldn’t quite call it a bad movie, but it really didn’t do much for me, and it’s definitely more of a one time watch.
Just a beautiful movie in every aspect, and it has become among my favorite Christmas movies to date. The animation is magical blending hand drawn with 3D animation, it’s simply wonderful. The story is very heartwarming and brings a more unique approach to the story of Christmas, and the movie is filled with quick humor as well. Klaus has become one that I watch every year, and I can’t find any glaring flaws about it. It is simply wonderful, and I highly recommend watching it if you haven’t already.
