One of the main plot changes in this adaptation of Macbeth is that Washizu (Macbeth's counterpart) dies betrayed by his men as the trees of the Forest of the Spider's Web approach the castle. This is important, because in Shakespeare's text, Macbeth dies in an honorable battle, killed by a child unborn by his mother, as prophesied and in a fair duel.
