I screamed about a hundred times and damn near died from secondhand anxiety, but like...in the good way. Very funny, very sweet.

This remake modernizes things, but doing so also seems to lower the stakes considerably - it sort of meanders a lot. Also, the titular banquet only lasts a few minutes?
On the plus side, it lacks the sexual assault-iness of the original, so that's something! And Lily Gladstone and Kelly Marie Tran are cute.

Polyamory would fix them.
