i’ve always been fascinated by the role mythology plays in human history and the ways in which we adapt/rework if to try and make sense of our reality. i feel like nosferatu is a representation of that sentiment rather than an embodiment of it. i wish we could’ve gone a little deeper into the themes, and i really wish i had more of an emotional connection to the movie as a whole :( but it was still fantastic! let’s give it up for the 5,000 real rats!
