Brilliant dramatisation of what happens when a highly competent and super empathetic person gets everything slowly put on her shoulders. A beautifully human (and definitely triggering, for anyone working in an understaffed hospital) drama that shows the mutitudes in everyone, reminds us that we're all going through something and how the snowball effect of stress can break even the most efficient person. I sobbed.

A mixed Bong bag but hard to argue against the performances, not least of all the double R-Patz with some of the best 'dual' person interaction in the same shot that i think I've ever seen?

A rallying cry for learning to love yourself (all parts of you), to know your worth, to not take any shit and to let go of the infinite number of things you can trick yourself into thinking you need to feel guilty about. It got me.

It'd be reductive to call this Pam Anderson's The Wrestler (2009) but it certainly feels modelled after that and would make for a fascinating double bill.
