Capital-d Death takes a back seat to flagrant criminal negligence causing death in this one.

Schlocky sci-fi anime clumsily copycatting (heh) the greats. Utterly tensionless, but had some surprisingly compelling beats toward its tail end!

At its best when it skirts its massaged melodrama and just embraces the chaos of the game world and the spontaneity of their delightful ing cast likening their lockdown lives to their characters.

Very grateful to get to watch this with a crowd so into it, made it all the more fun and feelsy!

The closest anyone’s ever come to capturing the magic of Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Pforce) in live-action.
