The sheer panic when my phone buzzed during this movie 🙃

Will I ever sleep properly again? Powerful. To me, horror/thriller films like this are far more panic-inducing when the premise is psychological and the threat is relatively unseen by others. Exceptional score that just builds on the fear of each scene.

Side note: Maika Monroe has the eeriest resemblance to the late Brittany Murphy, which just magnifies the inexplicable strangeness of this film.
