Angel Cop opens as a janky but perfectly acceptable Akira inspired action anime, however it gradually begins to introduce weird nationalistic and racist themes. Where the show really falls off though is in its final couple episodes, where both the production and writing feels like it was done by a middle-schooler who just discovered Conservapedia and DeviantArt.
