I didn't expect to cry while watching this movie, but I did! It was so cute and sweet and made me want to hug my siblings.

This movie was sadder than I thought it would be (my mom told me this movie is "fun" before we started watching it..hm), but that end credit sequence was the cutest thing ever!
Side note: I need to watch a Bollywood movie sometime since I haven't seen any. Suggestions on where to start?
I just wish there was more build-up to them falling in love. That normally wouldn't bother me as much, but when it's such an odd relationship with hardly any communication between them it's kinda hard to see how they got into a relationship. Otherwise I really really liked this movie since I'm a sucker for sci-fi romances.
It was pretty good, but it had some iffy things. The lighthouse scene was my shit though. If I could have a movie that consists solely of visuals like that scene had, that would be great thanks. The soundtrack during that scene was soo fucking good too (sounded like something NIN would produce haha). Also I think I’m in love with Tessa Thompson.
I liked this movie, but the first half was too slow for my taste and the length of it made it feel kinda pretentious at times. If the first act (and that intro!) was a little shorter, this could’ve been a masterpiece. Also this film hit a little too close to home so I’m not sure I could handle watching it again, but that’s what Lars was going for so it’s hardly a criticism.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
“Baby, you are gonna miss that plane.”
“I know.”
Oh my god
