The slog of misery of the first act is hard to connect to, but the flashes of brilliance from Talk To Me are expanded with a much better last thirty minutes. At its best when dealing with the nitty gritty minutia of the supernatural (drowning out the sound of witchcrafting your daughter’s spirit back into a mutilated child with awful Australian music). The tonal play is superb here but mostly relegated to the last half. I think one more movie…
