I love Succession. I consider it one of the best shows of all time. I think Jesse Armstrong is a fantastic writer and has a really good understanding of what he writes about. It was really hard to find a reason for the existence of this film, because honestly the people who are going to watch this already have an understanding of why AI and these type of people are bad, so I’m trying to understand who this is really for. I liked a lot of the little details that Armstrong consistently gets right, like certain small line moments and the snack plates from Soup. Found a lot of this to be tedious and then rushed, and think it would’ve probably worked better more fleshed out in a limited series. Got repetitive.
