The best war films are anti-war and this one sneaks up on you in the best way possible. The kind of film that makes one say "Tom Cruise is a revelation." My god, he's so fucking good. I wasn't expecting this film to be so good. Fuck war and fuck America.

Watching this movie is a humiliating experience, not because it’s bad but because it so perfectly captures what it was to be a girl, like having someone see your bare soul and put it on display for everyone to then see. She is just like me for real.

Love it when a film is just as good as everyone says it is.
