If you ever wanted another movie where you get to see Puss in Boots having a panic attack (post-Last Wish)….you certainly got it here.

Abrupt ending aside, what you’re getting is an effective with a powerful performance from the great Nicole Kidman. Not much else I could say beyond that, honestly.

Only reason why I ever bothered watching it was for Cristina Vee. That's right; Sailor Mars (or Ladybug) herself is in it. Unless you're a fan of either her or Pan Pizza (for completion/curiosity sake), stay away from Bands on the Run. Stay far, far away.

Just watch or play anything else that Cristina Vee starred in instead, like Shantae, Tales of Berseria, Madoka Magica, or the VIZ dub of Sailor Moon.

Possibly the most offensive movie I've ever seen in a long time.
That's all I'm gonna say about it, and Gazelle pretty much did a good job in her review (on this website, specifically) by pointing out what's wrong with this movie.

One of my favorite movies of all time. The cinematography is beautiful, HAL 9000....best villain I've ever seen, the visual style is outstanding, the direction is near perfection, the acting is surprisingly great....everything that you can think of from a Stanley Kubrick movie, it's right at your alley.

However, it may not be for everyone, but if you love movies from Stanley Kubrick and slow paced art house films, this movie is for you.
