Did not expect it to be "fun" but shouldn't have doubted Verhoeven as an entertainer along with his mastery. 131 minutes flies by with wicked performances, great music, camp hallucinations and convincing period ignorance. After "Madeleine Collins" at Venice and this, totally game for whatever Virginie Efira stars in next.
