Not what I thought it was going to be! Calm and controlling with a real natural feeling to the performances and camera work whereas I thought it would be just loud chaos. Loved the whole thing about control and belief but just struggled to get on board near the beginning of this. But you have to appreciate what this film is for 1972.

★★★½ Watched

Shit they called all of us Letterboxd s out. Thought the killer reveal was very weak but the gore in the kills was good even though the kills weren’t as suspenseful as the ones in Scream 5. Pretty decent though and the New York setting was a step in the right direction just hoping they continue the idea of putting these characters in new locations for the following films rather than a small town. Lastly I think Melissa Barrera did an insane amount better than she did in the first.
