I'd ask her what she felt, and she would say, "Not good." The next day I'd ask again, and she'd say the same thing, "Not good." Eventually she said, " What's the point of asking if you know I'm going to say 'not good'?"
I guess I was hoping one day everything would be better. I'd neve been in a situation like this so I never knew what to say. I just wanted her to be comfortable.
