Too much exposition, not enough humour, not enough wide shots in group scenes with conversations, too robotic dialogue with excessive technical jargon.

Acceptable story but too many moments where there’s a constraint or a threat or issue that is really cheap. Good fight scenes, storm trooper levels of gun usage, great lengthy tense sequences as always.

A tad predictable, but that doesn’t matter. It’s all in the execution. Which was good at times but sometimes underwhelming.

Mildly amusing at times but filled with super cliche story elements and lazy, over-explanatory dialogue. “The void” was constantly mentioned but as an actual physical and emotional concept, it was really not fleshed out or given any true substance for the audience to believe or even care about. All characters and every other element of the plot was also just too simplistic and not delved into at all.

There’s really nothing I hate more than a movie trying to moralise whilst attempting to disturb an audience. Especially when it’s by an extremely privileged person who is simply adhering to trends of complaining (or, maybe as it is often put, ‘discussing’ or ‘raising awareness’) about whatever is fashionable at any given moment.
