Pretty on the outside...but like a fruit the bugs have eaten from within.
When I first saw this around 2014 this was obviously very much my thing™ and it still absolutely slaps.
This time around I especially noticed the nods to the big japanese masters of physical and psychological deformation and transformation, Shuji Terayama and Hiroshi Teshigahara. But in the end this really is the blueprint for every hyper femme neon aesthetics. It revels in its artificiality, everything is exterior, everything surface, the rotting underside of the skin imprinting on everything around it.
Also...using Jun Togawas 'Mushi No Onna' (Insect Woman)...ugh her mind...
