An interesting movie about a j pop song that causes people to kill themselves. After doing research apparently the movie also tied to the raise of suicide rates in Japan during the 90s economic crash. Some fun gore and catchy songs. Worth the watch🤘

I watched this movie as a kid with my mom and all I ed was the dudes dick flopping around at the end. I’ve rewatched this movie many times and just love it. I have no clue about wine appreciation. Just know it’s taste like shit. Pair that with a horribly depressed man and his rancid best friend it makes for a wonderful comedy.  

Also the parallels of letting your past fester and eat away like a aging bottle of wine is *chefs kiss*

The price of beauty doesn’t come close to describing this future b horror cult classic. Over the top and cartoonish this film rides the complex line of comedy and horror without one demolishing the other. A must see for horror fans

Loved every ounce of this movie. Lustful nightmares, every character driven to utter madness, contrasted by every scene that felt like it could be a painting inspired by a dream. The camera work and editing guides you along the hypnotic gaze of Orloc and his selfish desires. Every performance was amazing. 

Eggers can do no wrong.
