It's an absolute masterpiece; a brilliant, seamless blend of every genre of humor I can think of. I could barely breathe from crying laughing, every single joke sticks the landing. A perfectly executed fusion of Buster Keaton and Tom Goes To The Mayor.

This is the most "James Wan" James Wan film that James Wan has ever James Wan'd. I fucking LOVE this movie, dude.
You can absolutely not like it, and I'd understand; it's not what I would describe as cerebral. I won't make a case either for or against whether James Wan is a "good filmmaker", but I I was entertained from beginning to end. A good amount of the horror had me feeling trepidatious, and when that well inevitably ran dry it made up for with gleefully satisfying action and goofy concepts. It's just a blast imho.
