ughh the cinematography, the songs, the production, the storytelling, the choreography, the love letter to africa.. black is king is an absolute masterpiece. i am so in awe of this visual project and beyoncé’s talents.

the original lilo & stitch remains one of disney’s most visually stunning and sentimental films to date. its hand-drawn animation and watercolour backgrounds bring to life the spirit of sisterhood, family, and hawaiian culture. 

unfortunately, the live-action remake undermines what made the original so special. with its weaker plot, inauthentic casting and hit-and-miss CGI, the remake feels more like an imitation that lacks the warmth and visual artistry that made lilo & stitch (2002) the beautiful movie it is.
