I being kind of let down with this movie the first time I watched it, and I definitely still feel like it has problems, but man this movie was pretty damn good! The time travel gimmick wasn't too horrible, the Quantum Realm is sufficiently set-up so it doesn't feel like too much of a random convenience.

Okay, wow. This was a pretty damn good sequel. The characters don't have to contend with a need for setup now, so stuff just kicks off with a bang and continues going throughout the whole film.
