Rhys’ Pieces of Mind’s review published on Letterboxd:
It may be the View-Askew-cool-aide drunkness talking, but I thought this was a million times better than what I had expected.
Despite the really obvious amateurish directing and acting, and writing that feels next-level ridiculous, Madness in the Method just felt so genuinely from the heart of Jason Mewes.
Mewes really does let his soul bare through this tale of himself always being expected to fulfil a mould set for him by the industry.
The endless Hollywood cameos assure me that it really is true: that Mewes is an authentic sweetheart - ed by friends that just want to help a guy out: a guy that they love.
