Much like the 60's, and much like the 1968 Democratic Convention Riots, this movie had a lot on its mind; protesting police brutality, politically motivated persecution and good ol' civil disobedience, to name a few relevant topics. However, I think it does its best work outlining the factionalism of the left - understandable considering writer/director Aaron Sorkin's way with biting barbs and politically savvy insulters. I'm sure he'd think he'd feel right at home in that monumental time. Not sure…
