I have never seen a movie more than once in a cinema, never more than once in one week and never on my own. I left the cinema today completely lost for words, completely blown away and almost in a state of shock, even on my second viewing.

No one needs to hear me ramble on about how this is a complete masterpiece. Or how Hitchcock just creates the ultimate feast of tension, horror, love, twists and ultimately turns. A masterminds study on a spiralling subconscious ravaged by grief. Visually, as gorgeous as Kim Novak in this flick, stunning. I could talk for hours about this film…the camerawork, editing, script, location, sound…
