Eli you boy

2006
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
One of the most finger pointing casts for a British 2000s comedy starring my favourite Karl Urban lookalike.
Genuinely funny moments but interconnected through a series of B plots that never feel like one strand can take centre stage.
Rebecca’s character is so far on the periphery that if the film revealed her to be a figment of MacAvoys imagination I wouldn’t have been surprised in the slightest.
It might lack any sort of edge but makes for a great comfort film.
