Hello, I'm Sean, and I just love cinema.

One of the absolute hardest parts about creating a great horror film nowadays is creating something that genuinely terrifies you, something that strikes a chord deep within the confides of your soul and brings out the emotion known as 'fear'. [Rec], directed by Juame balaguero and Paco Plaza, is one of the only films of recent memory to strike that emotion as fearless and completely visceraly as it did. There's such a compelling sense of isolation, dread, and claustrophobia that runs through 97% of the run time that really hasn't been explored in similar motion pictures that's mean, and unforgiving.
