Perfection, In Every Sense Of The Word, Man Do I Just Love This Film, These Characters, This Franchise As A Whole, Wes Kraven And His Work Here Remains So Undeafted For Me. “Movies Don't Create Psychos. Movies Make Psychos More Creative!” I Have Never Had A Movie Quite Like Scream That Just Left This Big Of A Impact On Me I’m Completely In Love With This Film Everytime I Watch It, So It Was A No Brainer To Rewatch This Masterpiece Again For The Spooky Season And Man Is This Movie Still Just The Absolute Best It Revolutionized A Entire Generation Of Horror For A Reason It Shall Remain Forever As One Of The Greatest And Most Iconic Horror Films Ever Made For A Reason, Wes Kraven As An Artist And As A Filmmaker Has Been Slowly And Slowly Becoming Up There As My Favorite Directors I’ve Just Completely Dig And Adore His Style Super Hard Especially Here His Directing And Writing Just Feels Distinctly Unique And Artistically More Special Each Scene Is Super Well Directed And In My Honest Opinion His Directing Here Just Gets Better And Better, This Cast Is Still Still So Unbelievably Perfect, Neve Campbell As Sidney Will Always In My Eyes Be The Greatest Horror Final Girl Of Them All She Plays The Character So Perfectly And You Truly Connect With Her Throughout The Whole Movie, David Arquette Is Still So Amazing As Dewey, And Courtney Cox As Gale Starts Off As Super Unlikable But She Gets Better And Better Through This Film And The Rest Of The Franchise, Jamie Kennedy As Randy Is Also Perfect Casting And Is Possibly My Favorite Character In The Franchise He’s Hilariously Nerdy And His Chemistry With The Rest Of The Characters Is Absolutely Amazing, Matthew Lillard As Stu Is Also Perfect Casting He’s Just Such A Vibe And Matthew’s Energy Just Defines The Character Of Stu To The Point Where I Truly Couldn’t See Anyone Else Playing Him And Same With Skeet Ulrich As Billy Who Just Truly Gives An Amazing Performance He’s Always Tensed Up And Suspenseful To Watch And Just Makes The Mystery Just Far More Interesting Like Is It Him Or Is It Not Even After Rewatching It Twice It’s Still Just Well Done By Both His And Wes’s Part, And Henry Winkler And Drew Barrymore For Being Big Stars Both Truly Shine Here When They Are Onscreen, The Script Is Also Just So Super Well Written And Perfect It’s Meta And The Mystery Is Excellently Written It’s Both Inthralling And Engaging To Watch As I Can’t Help But Pay Close To It In Absolute Amaze, The Detail, The Cinematography, The Score, The Setting, The Worldbuilding, The Pacing Are All Also Just So Perfect And To Top It Off With The Most Incredible And Phenomenal Kills Ever Put To Screen From The Steller And Impressive Opening That Just Straight Up Has The Balls To Kill Off One Of The Biggest Stars Of The 90s, And Man Are The Final 30ish Minutes At Stu House With The Climax Just On It’s Own It’s Quite Literally And Easily My Favorite Piece Of Media Ever Put To Screen The Shit Is Just Pure And Utter Perfection The Reveal With Billy And Stu Being The Killers Are Flawlessly Done And Everyone Brings There A-Game With The Performances In That Scene Especially Neve, And Overall Still Just Such An Incredible Masterpiece That Truly Is Just So Special And Uniquely Perfect This Is The Most Well Regarded Slasher Ever Made For A Reason.
