That’s Why I’m Better Off Alone.”          In Preparation For Shrek 2’s Twentieth Anniversary Rerelease I Decided To Do My Homework And Rewatch The Original Shrek, And Man This Movie Ages Like Fine Wine Everytime I Watch It This Is Just Pure Great Storytelling At It’s Finest The Meta Comedy And Take Of The Fairy Tale Cliches Just Work With A Well Beautiful Written Story About The Beauty Is On The Inside And Never Judge Anyone By What You First See And Pursue A Authentic Relationship This Film Is Just Well Written Shrek’s Arc And Development Beginning To End Is Easily Some Of The Greatest Character Development Put To Film He’s Just So Likable And The Comedy Is Super Well Written This Film Still Makes Me Laugh It’s Pure Fun For Both The Adults And The Kids I Caught Adult Jokes That Never Struck A Cord With Me As A Kid And The Main Story And Theme Is Just So Original And Fantastic I’ve Always Loved The Setting And Tone For This Film This Is Still One Of DreamWorks’s Finest And Most Iconic Works For A Reason The Directing From Andrew Adamson Is Just So Near Perfectly Done By His Part He’s Such A Underrated Actor And He Brings So Much Charm Into This Film With His Wonderfull Directing This Is Probably In The Top 10 Directing For Animated Films It’s Just That Good And The Soundtrack Is Just So Fire Smash Mouth Is A National Iconic Treasure For There Peak Songs All Star And I’m A Believer Both Being In This Film And Man That Score From Harry Gregson-Williams And John Powell Just So Smooth And Relaxing It’s Fits The Vibe And Tone Of The Film So Perfectly The Animation Is A Tad Bit Dated Compared To Recent Animated Films But It’s Still Great Animation With Great Colors And Design It’s Just So Beautiful Especially Shots Like This And The Voice Acting And Cast In This Film Is Just Perfection At It’s Finest Mike Myers Is Perfect Casting As Shrek And Nail’s The Vibes And Cocky Scottish Creativeness Of The Character So Perfectly His Voice Performance Is Also A Amazing Performance And Probably My Favorite Performance From Him Eddie Murphy Is A National Treasure And He’s Easily Perfect Casting For Donkey This Is Easily His Greatest And Most Iconic Role Of His He’s Just So Hilarious And Charming In The Role And His Chemistry With Mike Myers With Shrek Is Just Astonishingly Perfect It’s Just Facts At This Point Such A Great Duo And Great Performance From Eddie And                 Cameron Diaz Is Also Really Great In This Film As Fiona I Think I Like Her Character A Tad Bit More In The Sequels But She’s Still Great Here And I Love Each Scene With Her, Shrek, And Donkey John Lithgow Is Also So Great As Lord Farquaad Such A Fun Villain When He’s Onscreen And Overall This Film Is Just So Iconic And Simply A Timeless Classic. Can’t Wait To See 2 In Theaters Tomorrow!
