Watching this right after finishing Andor meant a lot to me. 

Sort of sparked a reminder in my heart why I fell in love with Star Wars.

I think Clements and Musker need to personally thank me for keeping this beautiful movie relevent to year 7 media students.

Something so magical about this film.

Rewatched this last night and it’s still as haunting and as magnificent a piece of humanistic cinema on Gaza as we have.

15 minutes of hilarious penguin antics and then one of the most unwatchable, unfunny, kinda insulting white washed takes on a significant historical event I’ve ever seen haha.

Watching this with your son as a father. Not many better feelings.

A genuinely good and funny script for all ages, had my 4 year old entranced and me entertained.

Just astounding the lack of humanity that Zionists have. These settlers are utter criminals and disgusting. Good on Louis for showing them as they are, crazy nationalist extremists who are at best complicit in genocide and at worst are aiding and perpetrating genocide. 

The cognitive dissonance of these lunatics is staggering.

Ryan Cooglar is the fucking man.

On a second viewing this film only gets better. It’s a spiritual, emotional odyssey that connects trauma and culture together through the haunting and freeing power of music. 

It’s a true testament to the power of cinema to tell compelling, complex and creative storys that not only touch our souls but sing to them.

Rewatched for a quick break while marking my students work. 

Everyone should check out this awesome short film made by indie filmmakers in Perth Western Australia. A lot of love and effort went into it. I’m really proud of my friends who saw this through.

Gosh I love this movie, just such a powerful and emotional film about why we should learn to love unconditionally in a world where we only value people on what they are worth to us financially. 

A beautiful rewatch that still resonated.
