When this wretched year of our Lord 2016 mercifully comes to a close later this month...I truly believe one scene from a film will stand head and shoulders above the rest: Nicolas Kim Coppola Cage (fully engorged in fear and stupidity) jolting up from his hotel bed and flailing a samurai sword at a Pakistani prayer buzzer while screaming "Try it motherfucker!"

What a warped piece of pop trash!

Larry Charles has led me to believe (probably not falsely) that this is how the rest of the world sees us now...as an incensed pony-tailed, cartoon-voiced, aging Con Air Cage...fumbling around in the dark with some high grade hash in one hand and a samurai sword in the other. A hapless, yet dangerous toddler-man who God has told to forever sail to foreign lands to right injustices and bring back cheap trinket souvenirs to his children.
