Gaze as violence, film as constraint, as something to be burned, art as prayer, all set against a harsh noise soundtrack.

There's a moment here where a person's eye is filmed through a hole in cloth and as soon as they look at the camera it cuts to black and abstract shapes. It's a simple edit, but it really struck me in the energy between the eye of the camera and that of its subject.
