My entry for the 'Showdown: 24 Hours' contest, featuring the best films to take place entirely over the course of 24 hours (with an allowance for flashbacks, assuming they aren't the majority of the film).

Most all of these I feel pretty confident do take place over the course of a day. A handful are borrowed from other people's lists, so hopefully they all qualify.
