Tremendously sweet, it's surprising to see Johnson's story because he sure messed up every chance he had. I didn't know the strange trip the film had to the screen (filmed 10 years ago and finally released now?) but Johnson's life as a small town kid whose mind was blown by 2001 and who does the whole "8mm films in the backyard" thing makes a good story.
