The grief I felt from this was not “I’m sorry this is happening to them” but rather “I’m sorry this has happened to me” - a genius evocation from Jane Schoenbrun craftily entwined with the story. Be gentle with yourselves going into this one folks. I thought my memories of suffocation were buried deep but they were merely resting under my skin.

Kinda love a movie where I can fall asleep for 20 mins and it doesn’t even matter. Haven’t watched any others in the franchise but questions about plot were completely unnecessary. What a hoot! Angela Bassett for prez.
